Security Best Practices
Small habits prevent lockouts and reduce the risk of compromised accounts.
Create a strong password
- Use a long passphrase that is easier to remember and harder to guess.
- Avoid common patterns such as Password123! or Summer2024!
- Do not reuse your MFLEX password on personal websites.
- Never share your password by email, chat, text message, or unsecured channels.
Examples: Coffee!Brewing#Morning4U TreeH0use!Summer#42
Protect access after the change
- Use an approved password manager if permitted by MFLEX policy.
- Keep Microsoft Authenticator and at least one backup MFA method registered.
- Review your sign-in activity regularly for suspicious access.
- Change your password immediately if you suspect it was exposed.
Frequently Asked Questions

Outlook or Teams keeps asking for my password.
Restart the application. When prompted, enter your new password and choose the option to remember your credentials if it is available.

My account is locked. What should I do?
Use the password reset portal and choose the unlock option. If you cannot verify your identity or the unlock does not work, contact the MFLEX IT Helpdesk.
I changed my password while remote and Windows still wants the old password.
