Share Your Screen in MFLEX Rooms with Ditto

Use this guide to connect a PC, Mac, Chromebook, or Chrome browser to a conference room display using Ditto. Connect to an approved MFLEX network, enter the room code shown on the TV, choose a sharing method, and stop mirroring when the meeting ends.

Start Here

Before sharing, connect to an approved MFLEX network and locate the room code.

Required network: Connect to one of these Wi-Fi networks before opening Ditto: mflexempwlan mflexvisitor multek-sjnet dsbjempwlan
Room display

Find the room code

Look at the TV or conference room display. Ditto shows a room code that identifies the receiver you want to connect to.

Computer

Use PC, Mac, or Chrome

PC and Mac users can use Ditto Connect. Chrome users may be able to share directly from the browser.

Permissions

Allow required prompts

If Ditto asks for screen recording, browser, network, or device permissions, approve them so sharing can start.

Share from PC or Mac

Use these steps when you are using the Ditto Connect app.

  1. Connect to an approved Wi-Fi network.

Use mflexempwlan, mflexvisitor, multek-sjnet, or dsbjempwlan.

  2. Open the MFLEX Ditto page.

Go to www.mflex.com/ditto and enter the room code shown on the conference room TV.

  3. Select a mirroring method.

Choose Install, Download, or the Chrome browser option if it is available. Steps 2 and 3 are not required if Ditto Connect is already installed on your computer.

  4. Launch Ditto Connect.

Open the Ditto Connect application. Approve any required permissions when prompted.

  5. Enter the room code if prompted.

Use the same room code displayed on the TV, then select Connect.

  6. Start sharing.

Select Start Sharing. Your screen or selected application should appear on the conference room display.

Choose a Mirroring Method

After entering the room code, Ditto may show several ways to connect.

Method When to use it What to expect
Install Best for employees who share screens regularly. Installs Ditto Connect on the computer so it is available for later use.
Download Best for temporary or one-time sharing from a PC or Mac. Downloads Ditto Connect for immediate use without keeping a permanent install.
Chrome browser Best for Chromebook users or users who prefer browser-based sharing. Available only when using Chrome. It allows mirroring directly from the browser without installing the app.

Share from Chrome or Chromebook

Use this option when the Chrome browser mirroring method is available.

  1. Open Chrome.

Use the Chrome browser on a Chromebook, Mac, or Windows computer.

  2. Open the Ditto web sender.

Go to connect.goditto.com or use the Chrome option from the MFLEX Ditto page.

  3. Enter the room code.

Type the room code shown on the conference room display, then select Connect.

  4. Choose what to share.

Select Start Mirroring, choose the screen, window, or tab to share, then select Share.

  5. Confirm the display.

Your selected screen, window, or tab should appear on the conference room receiver.

Sharing Options

Choose what appears on the conference room display.

Mirror a specific application

To keep the rest of your desktop hidden, choose an open application or window from the sharing list instead of sharing the full desktop.

Mirror multiple devices

More than one device can share to the same receiver. Connect another device and the receiver will display both devices in a new layout.

Stop Mirroring

Always stop sharing when your meeting or presentation is finished.

  1. Select Stop Sharing.

In Ditto Connect, select the Stop Sharing button. In Chrome, stop the browser sharing session.

  2. Confirm the room display is clear.

Make sure your screen is no longer visible on the receiver before leaving the room.

  3. Disconnect from guest Wi-Fi if needed.

If you used visitor Wi-Fi, disconnect when you no longer need access.

Troubleshooting

Use these checks if Ditto does not connect or sharing does not appear.

The room code does not work.

Confirm you entered the current code shown on the conference room TV. Room codes can change, and each room has its own receiver.

I cannot reach the Ditto page.

Confirm you are connected to an approved organization Wi-Fi network: mflexempwlan, mflexvisitor, multek-sjnet, or dsbjempwlan. Then reopen the browser and try again.

Ditto asks for permissions.

Approve required screen recording, browser, network, or device permissions. If permissions are denied, screen sharing may not start.

The wrong content is showing.

Stop sharing and start again. Select a specific application, window, or browser tab if you do not want the full desktop visible.

Audio or video does not play smoothly.

Move closer to the access point if using Wi-Fi, close unnecessary apps, and avoid sharing high-resolution video unless required for the meeting.
